From the Studio Samples collection — a limited series of one-off pieces — Qurm draws its inspiration from the Khor Kalba Mangrove Reserve. Shaped by hand in latte-buff stoneware, it’s layered with a soft sea-foam glaze and scattered olive-green speckles, echoing the shifting waters and rooted greenery where sea and forest meet.
 
Its form and finish capture the balance of elements — water, earth, and heat — transforming raw clay into something both grounded and fluid, much like the mangroves themselves.
